With the sun shining their future's path, much as fire lights and warms the soul,
Semedi and Meril prepare to speak their vows to one another.

Semedi holds Meril close, both in his hands and in his eyes,
and speaks the words of his heart.

"Meril, you are the light of my life. Without you in Norrath I would be lost.
You give me guidance and companionship,
and care for me in a way that nobody else does.

On this special day I give to you and those in attendance
my promise to cherish you, provide for you, to always be by your side,
and to protect you wherever our adventures might take us.

My love for you is absolute and I will be with you
until the day we depart this world."

Meril, choking back a sob of joy, breathes deeply and begins her vows.

"Semedi, I have been on this world for some time now,
and have always felt lost until I wandered across your path.

Perhaps it was Erollisi who gave me the gentle prod I needed in life.
Maybe it was just my longing to find that special someone to grow with.
Whatever the case may be, I am glad that it is you and I will live out my days
loving and caring for you in every possible way that a wife can.

Come and take my hand dear and walk with me in our garden of love."

With that, Semedi and Meril, filled with overjoyed emotion, exchanged rings and more importantly, a glance that silently announced an undying faith
that they would hold dear for eternity.

It was at this moment, that all nervousness and anxiety prior to the ceremony vanished, and they breathed easier, knowing that the words they had spoken to each other were truly from the heart... no, from the soul.

They had spoken truthfuly to one another,
the promise of love and devotion,
before witnesses and the gods above,
the Vows of love.
