"Namie Amuro"

A teacher, a mentor, a dear friend, Namie Amuro has come to marry Semedi and Meril,
to wish the joyous couple a blessed start on their new life.

Long ago, when Semedi and Meril were but neophytes learning the laws of magic and combat, it was Namie Amuro who taught them the fundamentals of survival.
It was by these fundamentals that Semedi and Meril attribute their long, fruitful lives amidst the evil begotten lands of Norrath - just as it was too by these same fundamentals that they have steered into the direction of light, away from the temptation of evil and the strong forces within.

Today, no longer the children she had taken under her wing long ago, Namie looks upon Semedi and Meril with proud, tearful eyes, seeing now a grown man and woman, the true example of courage that they are. "The children I never had," as she often refers to them, have bloomed into legendary figures in the preservation of virtue in Norrath.

In her eyes, Semedi and Meril are the embodiment of one being, giving birth to a new force, a new shining star that even the darkness of night cannot veil.

Looking now towards the heavens, Namie Amuro faces the gods she has come to serve and trust, and thanks them for the opportunity they had given her - the opportunity to be a part of the lives of Semedi and Meril.
"Tonight I will marry these two wonderful persons,
whom I have come to love as my own children.
Give them the same blessings that you have given me.
And give me the strength to let go -
as a parent must when their child is of age to roam free."

Wiping away misty eyes, Namie turns to Semedi and Meril and smiles.
Raising her hands, she calls to those attendance that the time for betrothal has come. The motion of the audience rising to face the wedding party fills Namie like a warm spring breeze, and suddenly she finds the strength to speak her words.

Filled with joy and love, Namie has finally arrived at the moment in her life that she had always hoped she would know before her time of passing - the moment of completeness.

And with this, with her announcement of man and wife, the two white doves that have always been secretly kept within her soul, have been sent to the heavens,
free at last to roam.
