"Play Time in the Hills"

Little Eddie and the citizens of the Rathe Mountains enjoy one of their favorite past times. Like a lion cub at play with his brothers and sisters, Eddie spends much of his days enjoying a romp through the valleys with his closest friends.  Pictured above from left to right are Nennah, Legatus, Lamarque, Maela and Ziess who have come today to enjoy the company of their giant.

I spent the day with them and had one of my greatest times ever in Norrath.  We began the day with a swim in the lake (surfing the occasional wave, courtesy of Eddie), then a run through the hills, a game of Hide and Seek in the surrounding caves, and finally capping the day off with songs and dancing at a village bonfire.

Eddie would often take Maela, his favorite halfling, and place her atop his head as he danced and laughed.  Hanging on to two life-sized strands of hair, Maela looked to be on top of the world, singing and dancing along with Eddie in what I am sure was the best view in all of Lake Rathe.

I would often observe the villagers, and see in their eyes a peace and joy found nowhere else. The worries of danger and strife found throughout the lands of Norrath, was absent here in the hills tonight.

They were safe with their giant.
Eddie was their shield,
They were his light.
Together, they were family.
