Perhaps one of my most favorite cities in Norrath, and one where I spent much of my young life training in the fine arts, is Rivervale, city of the Halflings.

I made my way to Rivervale one weekend to visit old friends Fiddy Bobek and the good Sheriff Rogilo, as we caught up on recent events. Talking over the finest Jumjum ale, they told me one particularly fascinating tale about a dark elf who has made Rivervale her new home.

"A dark elf? Here in Rivervale?" I gasped, expecting them to spit at the mentioning of one. I was amazed however, that they spoke of her in the highest, most respected tone.

They continued about how she came to Rivervale, dressed in the most magnificent armor that one can only guess came from the planes of the Gods themselves. Initially they were frightened of the thought that one of such a dark, evil race would invade their precious hometown, but evil she was not. In fact, she had come in peace, to begin what could be the start of an alliance between the halflings and dark elves.

She would often travel to Misty Thicket, casting spells of courage and healing upon the halflings who defend the town from the orcs and goblins. She would then glide to the Kithikor Woods, contributing her might and magic against the undead forces who rule the night.

Eventually, the halflings grew unafraid, and outright adored her. The dubbed her "The Savior of the Thicket,"giving her a home nestled in the now safe woods just outside of Rivervale.

To this day she continues her works of courage, and I soon found the opportunity to meet her. She was as beautiful as the wonderful magic that flowed from her soul.
