I was on my way back to Highpass from the East Karana one evening, when I decided to wait for morning to continue on.  Traveling in any of the Karanas at night is never a good idea, so I found a patch of bush, hid myself under a magical camouflage spell and rested.  Thanks to a warm, peaceful night, I slept like a baby.

I awoke the following morning to a bright sunrise in the horizon.  After gathering my few belongings, I decided to continue my journey while I had a full day of sunlight ahead.

Then out of nowhere, he appeared.

BOOM!  BOOM!  BOOM!
His feet pounded as he marched across the plains, shaking the trees, the ground, all the way down to my very bones.

"Me smell HUMAN!"
"Stonetooth HATE HUMAN!"
"STONETOOTH EAT HUMAN!"
His words echoed across the suddenly hellish landscape, as he sniffed the air, drawing ever closer to the area where I was hidden.

As luck would have it, my camouflage spell began to flicker, and I found myself starting to appear.  I would have loved to stay and chat with Stonetooth, but I decided my life was more important.

I don't think a druid with a triple-dose of SOW could have run faster than I did that day. =)
