I met this intriguing gnome in Qeynos, as I awaited the ferry to Erudin.  His name is Azdel, and for the first few minutes he sat on his pedestal motionless, and I assumed he was meditating.  Then without warning, he was up and waving his hands in the air as brilliant energy from all around entered his soul then out through his fingers,  igniting the docks, the city, and the seas itself.

"Woohoo!  I just learned teleport!" were his last words he muttered before he disappeared. And I didn't even get to wave goodbye. =)
