Throughout
time, the great winds of Norrath have always been the archives
of Legend. In their whispering songs, the names of
Norrath's great immortal Lords and Queens are remembered,
never to be forgotten.
It
is in these same winds where the name of Lord Memnokk,
the Jade King, shall forever be carried throughout the
lands...
It
is sung that The Jade King is the ruler of the woods. The
most seasoned druid and ranger can often hear his soft footpads
travelling close behind, and the soft howling of his wolves
cast a protective aura around Tunare's travellers, warning
evil to keep its distance.
Through
the haze and the rustling of leaves, one can sometimes see
the glimmering image of Lord Memnokk standing powerfully
and proud amongst his host of familiars. His mastery
of the earth and woods have maintained his place in Norrath's
very heart, and when woodsmen of today speak of the legend
of the Jade King, it is his image that is so vividly portrayed
in their minds.
