Story

trickle of sweat glided down his forehead as he smiled with
utter satisfaction. Below his short, stout body lay the
corpse of a slaughtered Revenant, accomplished a mere instant
ago by the freezing chill of his Froststab and the scorching
tip of the famed Khalshazar. Combined, they create the most
insufferable death to any who crossed his path.
Shifting his grin into a serious expression (a rare occasion
for the lively halfling), he looked around to observe his
surroundings. He had come across a clearing in the woods
enclosed by aging emeraldwoods. The perpetual darkness of
the night cast its shadowy blanket around him, blurring
the ghastly stars, like a dark necromancer shrouding himself
beneath his cloak.
Suddenly, a gust of wind slowly spiraled into the air and
the halfling felt both blades tremble in his hands. The
blazing heat of Khalshazar radiated a fiery glow, emitting
such light that the night's all-powerful darkness seemed
faded and dull. In his right hand, his blade of ice illuminated
a tint of blue projecting white rays off into the dark,
numbing the night with its paralyzing coldness.
The surge of magical fire and ice shot through his body
as the two forces intensified their powers. This electrifying
rush soared from head to toe, tightening his muscles underneath
his armor. Then, fully charged with an overwhelming amount
of strength, Lozoria's energy took form and soared high
into the skies.
. . . All throughout the continent, eyes turned towards
the heavens to see what they thought to be the image of
a God gone mad, staring mockingly down upon the mortal earth.
Many fled in fear while others thrust their hands and knees
into the ground in terrible worship of the image above.
Who this god was, or what ghastly magic sourced this frightful
image, they could not know. But one thing was for certain
- chaos reigned in Norrath this night.
Thrusting
his head back, Lozoria bellowed a laugh toward the heavens
resounding nothing but his echo and the soft whispers of
the night.
