he moon weaved it's silken light through the dark sky above. The hum of many voices droned on the plateau below them, some distance away. A protective arm about her waist gave him little comfort as he felt the boundaries of evil pressing closer toward them. The softened moonlight danced in the fairness of her hair and skin, warming his heart to look down upon her - knowing that their love was worth all the struggles they had gone through, both with their people and their gods.

"How much longer?", Keira whispered, moving closer into the shelter of his arms.

"Just a little while longer, my dearest. Hold fast." He replied, kissing her gently. "Our comrades are sure to be here soon."

Sileal raised his staff and white strands of magic wove about their bodies, renewing the spell of protection that surrounded them. To the north, the dark clouds parted and the glow of a million stars filled the night sky, fitfully announcing with a clap of thunder the arrival of their comrades to the tower.

In a rain of darkness and light, dark elves and wood elves gathered to the beckoning of Silael and Keira. Mortal enemies by birth and history, they were joined this evening to witness an event never before observed. On this evening, Silael and Keira, a dark elf Archmage of the army of the Tier'Dal and Keira, chosen daughter of Tunare, would announce their love and unity.

.

The gathering lasted long into the evening until both Keira and Silael had spoken their thoughts and desires. They declared that on this day forth, their brethren would spend the following years learning to live in peace, or be cast out of their respected empires. To this declaration not a single elf on either side flinched or faltered, for in the words of their Master and Mistress they knew that the truth had been spoken... the truth that had for generations upon generations, lay hidden and locked away in each of their hearts.

Both armies looked upon their leaders in respectful admiration, some failing to hold back their tears for the emotion that flowed through them. For too long have the two cousins shed oceans of blood between them. And now it would end.

The love that was once a forbidden fire that burned in the souls of Keira and Silael, had now brought together their two kingdoms. This was the first step, and with the gods willing, perhaps the entire races of the Tier'Dal and wood elves would follow in their footsteps.

Keira and Silael are joined by love and fire on the Solusek Ro server.
